Old World Decor

This project began with the homeowner requesting there be no step up to the pool. The rise in topography toward the rear property line necessitated a raised area above and behind the pool. This created the opportunity to combine the use of a rugged wall stone and silver travertine coping to create a beautiful “old world” look.

The ultra-formal shape of this pool is highlighted by several design features including the raised masonry walls, inverted radius roman corners, stone columns with lanterns, travertine pool coping and step treads, and three automated sheer descent water features.
